Transmembrane channel proteins, binding studies and DNA-delivery

Several natural transmembrane channels and transporters were investigated in collaborations. Protein/DNA interactions and the receptor-mediated uptake and antisense oligodesoxynucleotides of DNA have been studied using larger synthetic polypeptides.  A very effective, synthetic, cationic DNA-transfer reagent (Unifectin) has been developed (A.Surovoy).
